Lets face it….
This site has a split personality: This is where I figure out what I WANT on my site.  Doing websites for other people is much easier.  They tell you what they want.  Then you get to decide how to do that in a way that reflects you as well as them.  But when it is your own site… and you can do ANYTHING>>>>  well.. You need a place to go think. Both Atheena and Paula start here.

Sometimes it is Atheena.

Atheena came to life when my brother decided to take a nickname from childhood and use it on my computer as a joke.  I don't even know if he remembers this.  Or if he ever understood the problems it caused at first.  No one liked that I was using the name of a goddess in war games.  It made them want to pick fights with me. In those days women did not play games so they assumed I was a male and that I was arrogant.  Both were wrong at the time.  However, I am arrogant now.  I began a website on geocities.  This was Atheena's gaming pages.

           Opinions, Virus issues & Gaming and / or gossip.

Voice-over (s)  -  My original idea was to make them for every page.  Thanks to a friend in Canada I now have the software to do this... and have my poems voiced over for you.  I see that some other sites are doing it now.  However, I do not have any sites that I put voice-overs on except the occasional one here.  I first spoke of my voice overs at Dragon Con here in Atlanta.  In addition to gaming information this site originally was used to play with this idea of voice-overs online.  The idea came from male friends of mine wanting me to make .wav files for them so they would have that 'southern accent' do their sounds in the windows and especially ICQ environments.

I do websites so that I can learn how to do websites.  I think of it as another way for me to express my creativity.  I love it.  At times however, the involvement with it can be overwhelming.  I am sure one day I will reach a point where … it is not overwhelming.

Writing is something I do when I have no other choice.  I can not help it.
I have to do something with this… it is just sitting on my hard drive …. Doing NOTHING.  I do not fancy myself a writer like I fancy myself an artist.  However, this is where I will put the things I have written.  And you can enjoy or ignore as you choose *smiles*
