Fort Mountain State Park - They provide 20 stalls and 160 acres of
privately owned Northwest Georgia mountains, adjoining 3000 acres of Fort
Mountain State Park. Each stall is 10 x 12 in size, and specifically built
with safety features for horses. The barn has a 16 ft. alleyway. Its very
clean and highly maintained. Stable stalls and campsites supply water and
electricity hook ups, as well a day-use parking area.
Southern Cross Ranch - is
situated on two hundred acres of gently rolling
land. You can horseback ride for hours and not leave the ranch. Whether you
want to ride lazily through lush wooded trails or trot across beautiful open
meadows, Southern Cross Ranch is big enough to accommodate your needs. Our
relaxed riding program allows guests to trail ride on their own if they
choose. Horses are matched for novice and experienced riders, and lessons
are available.

Park - "from
the beginning, it has been groomed for greatness. Since opening its gates in
September of 1995, the Park has already served as the equestrian venue for the
largest sporting event in the world: The 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Our
Park was the setting for all equestrian events, as well as the first ever
mountain bike competition and the final two events of the modern pentathlon of
the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.

Roosevelt, Fort Mountain and Watson
Mill Bridge state parks. Some have stall rental,
riding rings and designated camping areas for horse owners. Riders pay a fee
of $3$10 to use equestrian trails.
