So my kids convinced me that it was in their best interest this summer to let them experiment with hair dye.
They are very persuasive and other than one teacher the last day of school everone has been playful about it for them.

Here goes... now this took a lot for me to let this go ehehehe... but we have had fun.. and their big arguments were...  
they are doing it together as a family...
they are doing it so I finally have blond kids to match me....
they are doing it because when they grow up they intend to have jobs that wont let them experiment ...
and finally... they said they were doing it because... you only are young once and this was a thing for the young.....

The last day of school...  Carter convinced me to let the boys have some real fun....  I thought real fun was throwing water ballons and paperwads on the bus the last day of school...  and walking home soaking wet....  they say that is dangerous now....  so... hair dye it is????  My friend Barbara says it is better than drugs... and Geoff reminded me it is good birthcontrol .......  *ponders*

It was more green than blue.
First off for the last day of school (and Jacob's graduation to middle school) the boys got thier sister to convince me to let them do this.

I had advised that the color add in be temporary....  Carter convinced Jake to go with the perminent.... Alex went with his mama's suggestion.  I would like at this time to point out....  Jakes hair is GREEN not blue. (He wanted blue)  Alex however had his pu'kin orange :)  I might not know how to bleach it out but by gollies I KNOW HOW TO ADD COLORS!


I only dreamed that one day I would have blond children.

Well, It was hard getting all the black and red dye out of Carter's hair....  she never got as blond as her bothers however, she claims she got as blond as me.  She did prove one thing with all this... if you worked hard enough you could get close to my hair color eheheheh

Well she says now she has had all the fun she can endure... and when she gets back from the beach she will go back to brown....   So this page is what we have to remember her escapades with....  I don't have a pic of her red or black here as she was red at dad's funeral.
