| Wash tomatos then blanch, peel and remove all bad spots as well as both tops and bottoms. In a large pot heat boil, cook just till they are tender. While still hot (use clean rubber gloves.) Pack tightly into sterilized quart jars. To each jar add 1 teaspoon canning salt and fill with hot water to one inch from lid. Then put into canner bring to boil. Hot water bath 10 minutes. |
