Aunt Nickies Red Pepper Jelly
 
 
1   box Sure-Jel  
6 cup    sugar  
2 1/2 cup    chopped red bell peppers  
2 1/2 cup    chopped hot red peppers  
1 1/2 cup    vinegar  
1/2 tsp    butter  
 
Blend in a blender the peppers and vinegar. Pour in pot and add Sure-Jel and 1/2 t butter to keep from foaming up. Stir until mixtue comes to a full boil. Add Sugar all at one time and stir till it returns to a boil. Boil for one complete minute. Take off heat and put into sterilized 1/2 pint jars ( 8 oz jars) and boil jars and lids and put on to let seal.
