Grilled Asparagus
 
 
  fresh asparagus  
  butter  
  garlic salt  
  paprika  
 
Wash asparagus and toss on grill. Take a patty of butter that will hold on a fork (like when you butter corn on cob) and when the asparagus is warm enough to melt the butter run it over asparagus and then sprinkle with paprika and garlic salt. Flip and do other side. Just enought butter will remain on the asparagus to hold garlic flavor the rest will melt into the grill and create a wonderful flame kissed taste. Lower lid and allow to smoke for about 5 minutes. Serve immediately. It should be crunchy, crisp but not tough. We eat it like french fries.
