| Shuck and clean ears of corn removing silks. Cut corn off cob in two layers then scrape the corn with edge of knife blade to get the extra milk. Heat fat in cast iron pan add corn and water to boil with salt and heavy pepper to taste. Cook out the water. Corn is done when it thickens and loses raw starch taste. |
