Creamed Corn

Actually what works best is just take left over stewed potatoes and combine with left over creamed corn and chop up some onions and jowls, bacon, fat back or ham into it :))) and serve with fry bread.

4-5 ears    silver queen corn on the cob (or what ever you grew)
  pepper
  salt
  butter
  Water
  1 T sugar *optional

Shuck and clean ears of corn removing silks. Cut corn off cob in two layers then scrape the corn with edge of knife blade to get the extra milk. Bring corn renderings and water to boil with salt and heavy pepper to taste. Try for 10 minutes stirring all the time. Corn is done when it thickens and loses raw starch taste. May drizzle with bacon (like granny) or add butter to flavor.
