| Slaw basics |

large head cabbage, chopped |

medium onions, chopped |

carrot, grated |

| Dressing |

| 1 cup |
|
sugar |

| 1 cup |

vinegar |
|
| 3/4 cup |

salad oil |

| 1- 1/2 tsp |
|
salt |

| 1 tsp |
|
dry mustard |
|
| 1 tsp |
|
celery seeds |
|

| |
| Bring dressing ingredients to a boil. Let cool, pour over shredded cabbage, onion and carrots. Will keep in fridge 2 - 3 weeks. |
