Green Pepper Jelly
 
 
3 large    bell peppers  
18- 20   mature hot peppers  
1/3 cup    water  
3 cup    white vinegar  
5 lbs    sugar and  
3 Tbs    sugar  
2   boxes sure-jell  
  green food color  
  box of paraffin  
 
Blend peppers and water in food processor then strain. Boil vinegar and sugars for 5 minutes then remove from heat and add 2 bottles/boxes of sure - jell or certo and add green food coloring and wax tops. Heat parrifin to hot wax in double boiler and pour over hot jelly. (may heat to liquid in microwave)
 
 Cooking Tips
Use hot wax on hot jelly. Heat wax in double boiler, or microwave.
