Beau Monde Seasoning
 
 
Big Mama introduced me to this spice... so naturally I had to hunt it down :)
 
1 Tbs    salt  
1 Tbs    ground bay leaf  
2 Tbs    white pepper  
2 Tbs    black pepper  
1 tsp    nutmeg  
1 tsp    cinnamon  
1 Tbs    allspice ( from berry not the fake mixed)  
1 Tbs    mace  
1 tsp    celery seed  
1 Tbs    cloves  
 
Mix thoroughly. Place in an airtight container and store in a cool, dark place up to 4 months. Use to season poultry, fish, beef, vegetables, and sauces.
 
Servings: 1
Yield: about 1/2 cup
