NC Vinegar Bbq Sauce
 
 
4 cups    cider vinegar  
1 cup    Texas Pete or Tobasco  
1/4 cup    brown sugar, packed  
1 1/2 T    dried crushed red pepper  
1/2 T    red pepper  
2 tsps    onion powder  
2 tsps    black pepper  
2 tsps    salt  
1/2 tsp    worcestershire sauce  
  dash smoke  
 
Mix all ingredients together in saucepan over medium heat, stir constantly for 5 - 10 minutes till sugar is completely disolved. Cool then store in fridge until you need it. Keeps for weeks... if it lasts that long :) Longer it sets... the warmer it gets.

I try and remember the BBQ sauce we had at Robert Bowman's dads... OMG It was good. This is the closest I can get to it.
