| If you look for a recipe your going to be unhappy with all they want you to do... this is VERY easy.. if you make it like my grandmother did. |
| |
| 2 cups |
whole milk |
| 1 Tbs |
plain yogurt |

| |
| Bring milk to boil in heavy saucepan, stirring with whisk to keep from burning. Once scalded, transfer to a large container that has been sterilized with hot water (or fresh from dishwasher today) set aside to cool. Once it is lukewarm, add starter yogurt. (You don't want to kill the bacteria in your starter yogurt) Mix well to distribute the yogurt culture. Cover with a clean towel or wax paper. Keep in a warm place for 6 - 8 hours until set. The yogurt will thicken as it cultures. Flavor to taste with fruit, sugar and flavorings as desired.
Remember to save out 1 T for your next batch :) |

| Cooking Tips |
| This is very simple and easy to make larger batches by simply doubling or tripling the recipe. Time and instructions remain the same. |
