| Granny made so many cobblers. When ever we gathered fruit and canned it or gathered too few to can the left overs were either jammed or cobblered! |

| 1 quart |

fresh fruit |

| 1 |

stick butter |
|
| 1 cup |
|
self rising flour |
|
| 1- 1/2 cup |
|
sugar (less if the fruit is sweet enough) |
|
| 3/4 cup |
|
milk |
|
|

| Heat together flour, sugar, milk and butter. Pour over fruit in a 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes at 350° until brown. |
