Fruit Cobbler
 
 
Granny made so many cobblers. When ever we gathered fruit and canned it or gathered too few to can the left overs were either jammed or cobblered!
 
1 quart    fresh fruit  
1   stick butter  
1 cup    self rising flour  
1- 1/2 cup    sugar (less if the fruit is sweet enough)  
3/4 cup    milk  
 
Heat together flour, sugar, milk and butter. Pour over fruit in a 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes at 350° until brown.
 
 Cooking Tips
If you don't have fresh fruit you can use a can of fruit.
