Fresh Strawberry Glaze Pie
 
 
1   3-oz package strawberry gelatin  
1-2 cup    sugar, depending on sweetness of berries  
6 Tbs    cornstarch  
2 cup    water  
1 quart    fresh strawberries sliced  
2   9-inch pie shells baked and cooled  
1   8-oz carton whipped topping  
  Pinch of salt  
 
In saucepan combine gelatin, sugar, cornstarch and salt. Mix thoroughly. Add water and mix thoroughly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Stir in berries. Pour mixture into the pie shells and refrigerate. Spread on whipped topping after mixture has been chilled before serving.
