| 1 quart |
|
milk |
|
| 1 cup |
|
heavy cream |
|
| 1/2 cup |
|
butter |
|
| 2 pints |
|
oysters, with liquor |
|
| 1 tsp |
|
salt |
|
|
|
pepper till speckled |
|
|
|
| |
| Heat milk and cream to scalding. add warm butter and oysters, liquor and all, add salt and pepper and cook till edges of oysters slightly curl. Server immediately. |
