Pomegranate Syrup - Grenadine
 
 
4   pomegranates  
3 cup    sugar or 1/4 c honey  
 
Crush pomegranates and remove seeds... add sweetener and mix well. Let stand over night then heat till boiling then reduce heat and simmer for 2 - 3 minutes stirring constantly. Cool. Strain thru cheese cloth to remove all final seeds etc... Pour into a hot sterilized jar. Cover with a piece of cloth or a clean towel until cooled. Cap tightly and refrigerate.
 
Servings: 1
Yield: 2 cups syrup
