apple juice or cider |

grated lemon rind |

clove, ground |

| 1 - 1 1/2 tsp |

cinnamon, ground |

| 1/2 tsp |

allspice, ground |

burgundy or red wine (I prefer red) |

| Mix all ingredients except wine bring to slow boil, for non-alcoholic add wine, stir and bring just to a boil again and simmer for 30 - 45 minutes. Serve while hot. Serves 10 to 15. Delicious holiday drink. If you want non - alcohol boil it and it will evaporates in cooking. Otherwise add wine after you remove from stove top. |
