Hot Buttered Chocolate
 
 
1/2 cup    granulated sugar  
1 cup    water, approximately  
1/3 cup    unsweetened cocoa powder  
5 cups    milk  
2 pinches    salt  
1 1/2 tsp    vanilla extract  
  mini-marshmallows or whipped cream  
1 1/2 cup    butterscotch liquor  
1 1/2 cup    Irish Cream  
 
1 1. In 4 quart saucepan add cocoa and salt, and mix. Add water and bring to a boil. Add sugar and return to boil... let reduce for 2 minutes.
2 2. Stir in the milk and heat, but do not boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla; blend well.
3 3. Add butterscotch and irish cream and stir.
4 4. Drop marshmallows on top. Or whipped cream. Serve immediately.
5 Makes 6 servings.
